What makes Summer Arts Under the Umbrella so special? Our experienced instructors are practicing artists, arts educators, and teachers. They share a love of their art with a keen awareness of the developmental needs of children and young adults. We offer fine arts education for ages 4-13 and an excellent Counselor in Training program for high schoolers ages 14-16. You can choose from either our SAUU camp or our partnership, ARTS & REC camp! Minecraft Mania Camp Begins (1 Week Program)

Minecraft Mania is a blend of virtual learning and companion hands-on activities that explore science and engineering using Minecraft. Use an interactive avatar to investigate a game-based educational environment. Engage in both computer and real world activities covering geology, engineering, physics, and biology. Learn about the properties of rocks and minerals and take home your own rock collection. Use your skills to build skyscrapers and simple machines and plant our own crops in fun experiential challenges.

Do you dream of becoming a veterinarian? Grab your lab coat, animal lovers, as we learn about our favorite furry, flying and fishy friends! Follow a furry “patient”, make amazing animal models, build big bones, and investigate animal intestines from our favorite vertebrates: birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. End the week with a featured visit with a live animal.
