Celebrate fall with an afternoon of fun family activities at the Playscape at Ripley and the Concord Integrated Preschool playground in Concord! Activities include the annual Concord Family Network Fire Truck Wash, pumpkin games with the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest and the Friends of the Playscape at Ripley, a sandbox treasure hunt and tattoos with the Concord Integrated Preschool, animals with Drumlin Farm, music with children’s musician Hugh Hanley. a nature-based art activity with Musketaquid Arts & Environment, crafts and coloring with the self-advocates Minute Man Arc; fitness- and swim-themed tattoos from the Beede Swim & Fitness Center; and a free play area hosted by Concord Children’s Center. Event is open to the public — $5 voluntary donation per family at the door (cash only, please). Rain date Sunday, October 14.
